Ending October

This weekend I finally got out of the house for a few moment to do some shooting. Having checked the tide charts I made a mad dash down to my favourite beach which is a 15 minute drive from my home. The conditions were perfect for a good evening of shooting, with nice wispy clouds in the sky, low tide at the beach and a clear path for the sun to set on the horizon. This time of year the days are very short and the sun sets very early in the evening and then it quickly turns dark . In reality there is very little time to capture the sunset , it happens very quickly and even the blue hour comes down to basically the blue 20 minutes.

But this was a good day, I was on the beach, my camera was setup with my polariser dialed in, It was now up to mother nature and she delivered. Closing out October with a bang.
